The Wall

There are 1½ million men sitting in prisons in the United States. This number is obscene. This number reflects in part the number of children without fathers and the number of women without husbands. This number also reflects the economic disparity in the work place. We as Americans must correct this situation. We cannot let another generation of men grow up to become prisoners.

The Wall project consists of the distribution of the book "The Wall" to all male prisoners in the United States, both state and federal prisons. This is a monumental task but we are committed to bringing the Word of God to the men behind bars. We need your help with this project.

We would like the churches that have a prison ministry to write us. We would also like to hear from associations and organizations that deal directly with alcohol and drug rehabilitation.

We would like for you to give one dollar to help defray the cost of sending the book "The Wall" to each prisoner in the United States. NISV will be sending the book to prisoners one state at a time. The first states will be Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois. If you would like to help or become involved in this project please contact Gloria Lee at NationalISV@aol.com.
